Head Coach: Stephen Ruckman
In just 2 short years Coach Ruckman and the staff has brought Grace King high school back from a tough period in their history. Grace King was on a 32 game losing streak prior to the 2011 season. In 2011 Grace King posted the 2nd best season in the school's 31 year history. He is excited for what the 2012 season holds.
His most recent coaching stop was at 4A Tate High School in Pensacola, FL. where he coached the OL and was also the Executive Head Coach. His three years on staff there helped to take one of the worst teams in the State of Florida to being ranked #10 in the state by MaxPreps at the end of the 2009 season. Coach Ruckman hopes to duplicate this turnaround for the Fighting Irish of Grace King.
Off the football field Coach Ruckman stays involved in as many community activities as possible such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Miracle League. Coach Ruckman has been a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. He is joined by his wife Tricia, a special education teacher, and his sons Peter David and Joseph Clayton.
